Warranty on Transmissions & Transfer Cases
NOTE:
NV5000 Brand New 5 Speed and Advance Adapters units come with a one year warranty. All other
transmissions and transfer cases come with a two year, 24,000 mile warranty whichever comes first. Note: We do not warranty transmissions that are used outside of the country. Warranty is non-transferable.
Note: Transmissions and Transfer Cases do not come with oil.
WARRANTY COVERAGE DETAILS:
- We cover you against any manufacturing defects on the transmission or transfer case.
- Buyers warranty begins at original date of purchase and expires at the end of a two year period or at 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Unit must be returned for our inspection to determine fault. In rare instances a replacement transmission will be sent out.
- Any dismantling of transmission automatically voids the warranty.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- We do not warranty short throw shifters as they wear out the gears faster.
- Abuse, neglect, accident, or improper towing.
- Warranty is void if used for racing or sled pulling.
- Improper installation and maintenance, INCLUDING FAILURE TO FILL THE UNIT WITH PROPER FLUID AND MAINTAIN ADEQUATE LEVELS.
- Any charges that may have been incurred from towing or vehicle rental.
- Loss of time, inconvenience, vehicle usage loss, commercial loss or consequential damages.
- Broken or burnt Gears or Shafts due to improper driving, towing or letting unit run low on oil.
- No claims for labor or consequential damages will be accepted.
- We are not liable for misuse or negligence causing damage, defect, injury, or loss.
- Any dismantling of transmission automatically voids the warranty.
- Warranty is non-transferable.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
In the event High Impact Transmission & Gear is required to defend itself in any court action arising out of the sale of any unit covered by this limited warranty, then in the event of the successful defense by High Impact Transmission & Gear, purchaser agrees to pay any and all costs associated with defense of such action, including reasonable attorney’s fees.
